As part of this transformation, they are looking to expand their Global Procurement team with a new colleague for the following position:
GLOBAL SOURCING & PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Role Purpose:
In this key support role, you will focus on day-to-day sourcing execution, supplier communications, RFQ processes, contract administration, and price negotiations—with a primary focus on direct fasteners and secondary operations for our Smart Infrastructure market, alongside supporting Automotive, Medical, and General industrial sectors globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Excellence & RFQ: Prepare, execute, and analyze RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs. Evaluate supplier offers, perform detailed cost comparisons, and recommend best-value sourcing options for the Hungarian location
- Commercial Value & Negotiation: Conduct price benchmarking, collect detailed cost breakdowns, and support cost-savings initiatives to meet regional and global P&L targets
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Maintain supplier scorecards, log corrective actions, and assist in organizing Quarterly/Monthly Business Reviews (QBRs/MBRs)
- Data Accuracy & Administration: Manage pricing uploads, master data, and contract renewals using ERP systems (D365), CLM, and digital procurement dashboards
- Risk & ESG Compliance: Perform basic ESG compliance checks, support dual-sourcing projects, and ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies, SVL standards, and audit readiness
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional internal teams (Supply Chain, Engineering/Quality, Operations, Finance) and external global suppliers
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in procurement, purchasing, or direct sourcing.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications
- Basic knowledge of quality and regulatory standards
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong numerical accuracy
