They are currently looking for a new member to reinforce its regional team based in Budapest in the following position:

CONTROLLER

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Monthly financial controlling of the region (HU, IT, SRB)
  • Supporting the monthly closing process
  • Preparing management reports and financial analyses
  • Reviewing P&L, accruals and other closing items
  • Reconciling and controlling general and overhead costs
  • Controlling construction activities based on approved project budgets
  • Monitoring project profitability
  • Preparing annual P&L budgets
  • Managing Intercompany and Transfer Pricing activities
  • Supporting the Group audit process
  • Actively participating in external audits
  • Collecting and preparing financial data and analyses for Due Diligence processes
  • Supporting M&A activities
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial analyses
  • Providing financial support for management decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and reporting automation
  • Participating in the implementation of the NetSuite ERP system

Your profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Controlling, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Professional experience in the energy sector is considered an advantage
  • Experience with ERP implementation
  • Proven ability to work effectively across a wide range of teams and stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes
  • Previous audit experience is considered an advantage
  • Business-fluent Hungarian and English language skills are required
  • Spanish and/or Italian language knowledge is considered an advantage
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian tax and financial legislation
  • Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, business-oriented and solution-focused mindset
