EHS AND IMS SPECIALIST

Purpose of the position:
The new colleague will support activities related to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), Environmental Protection, and the Integrated Management System (IMS), monitor and ensure compliance with legal and CRH requirements, and facilitate the implementation and application of relevant standards.
 
Main responsibilities:
  • Supporting Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) activities – ensuring that all legal requirements and internal policies and procedures are in place, appropriate training is delivered, and all necessary actions are implemented to ensure compliance
  • Supporting IMS activities – ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies and procedures, organizing trainings, and guaranteeing conformity; coordinating periodic audits and ensuring compliance during external audits
  • Continuous analysis of the current situation and development of proposals for further improvements in all three areas
  • Supporting the investigation of accidents and unsafe behaviors; coordinating the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Internal corporate communication regarding national, EU, and company regulations
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships with relevant stakeholders
Requirements for the position:
  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the EHS field
  • External and internal auditor qualification (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001)
  • Confident English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) qualification
  • Fire safety qualification
  • First aid knowledge
  • Knowledge of relevant local and EU regulatory environments
  • Confident user-level knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Valid Category “B” driving license and willingness to travel
  • Flexible, proactive attitude
