SAP S/4HANA FINANCE CONSULTANT (HYBRID)
Full time, permanent position
 
Responsibilities:
  • As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA solutions (cloud, on-premise) to help clients achieve operational excellence and digital transformation. This role requires both technical expertise and strong business process understanding.
  • Implementation: Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations using SAP Activate, and configure standard FI processes (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Closing).
  • Process Analysis: Evaluate and optimize business processes, translating them into effective SAP S/4 HANA solutions.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional consultants to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
  • Advisory: Provide expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Training & Support: Deliver end-user training, prepare documentation for business teams, support UAT activities and troubleshoot issues during testing and go-live.
  • Innovation: Stay current with SAP S/4HANA upgrades and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education and language: University degree, fluent in English and/or German (both written and spoken).
  • Technical expertise: Min. 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferably SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and SAP S/4HANA on-premise). 
  • Business Knowledge: Strong knowledge of FI configuration including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Period-End Closing.
  • Professional skills: Proven ability in configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration within SAP environments.
  • Consulting Mindset: Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams.
