RECEPTIONIST AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
 

Responsibilities:
  • As a Receptionist:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors to the school.
  • Handle phone calls and emails in a polite and professional manner.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks.
  • Record and distribute mail and messages.
  • Monitor voicemail and respond to calls as needed.
  • Greet visiting families and provide hospitality.
  • As a School Administrator:
  • Prepare Student Reference Letters, Recommendation Letters, and Transcripts by gathering information from various sources.
  • Print and maintain attendance registers and other records.
  • Organize Parents' Evenings and other school events, coordinating with various departments.
  • Maintain the signing-in register for late-arriving students, ensuring updates to the School System.
  • Maintain a paper filing system for current and former students’ records.
  • Follow up on absent students by communicating with their homes, reporting to relevant staff, and updating school registers.
  • Actively participate in school-wide evacuation procedures, ensuring safety and coordination.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, respond to parent queries, and relay messages to students or teachers as required.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the daily operations of the school.
  • Process Leavers' forms for students leaving the school, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Hungarian and English.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and proactive in managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact politely and confidently.
  • Honesty and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Prior relevant experience and excellence in customer service are advantageous.
  • Excellent IT skills.
