We are looking for a new colleague for our partner Schweitzer Group in Hungary, with employment under Shoptec.
This position is to support the financial and operational performance of Shoptec, which focuses on manufacturing activities, and Schweitzer Industries, which specialises in assembly and logistics activities, with a primary focus on Schweitzer Industries. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within a multinational organization.

BUSINESS FINANCE CONTROLLER
Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing actual financial results, identifying variances, and investigating discrepancies while providing insightful commentary.

Provide business support by conducting profitability and other financial analyses, ensuring data-driven decisions align with organizational goals.

Play a key role in the year-end statutory audit process, preparing and reconciling required analytical data and supporting the audit team.

Reconcile large volumes of ERP system data with Excel reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Support the accounting team with reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.

Collaborate with the purchasing team to provide financial insights and improve cost management.

Demonstrate attention to detail in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the CFO of Hungary.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or controlling role, with exposure to assembly and logistics and/or manufacturing.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems and proficiency in reconciling data using Excel skills.

Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach, ensuring precision in all financial activities.

A commercially focused mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal skills, being both a team player and capable of independent work when needed.

Fluency in Hungarian and English is required; German is an advantage.

Location Flexibility:

The position is based near Pápa or in Győr, with activities occurring at both locations as needed.

Occasional travel to HQ in Italy and the sales office in Germany will be required.
