CATEGORY MANAGER (ROMANIAN MARKET)
Key duties:
  • Creating food and non-food country specific assortment following the effective balance between central buying and local purchasing for Romanian market,
  • Maintaining contact with existing and new supplier base,
  • Negotiating annual contracts, strategic and operational cooperation,
  • Price management: determining and changing the selling price of products based on company rules and category margin expectations,
  • Responsible for merchandising solution (planogram) and making sure the range size is in line with the actual store size,
  • Continuous reporting of turnover data and decision-making on the basis of selection, market situation and activities,
  • Development of promotional activities, planning of product groups and article level, pricing, placement determination,
  • Monitor competitor sales trends to ensure offer and experience is in line with customer expectations,
  • Managing relevant tasks regarding operational processes such as product administration, data management, logistic information,
  • Leading the communication to the stores about the information like assortment changes, price changes, new suppliers.
Requirements which you should have:
  • College degree OR University degree,
  • Fluent Romanian AND intermediate English language proficiency,
  • At least 3-5 years professional experience in the area of category management OR buying OR key account management in a multinational environment,
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, very good skills in Microsoft Excel, Experience in negotiating with suppliers,
  • High level skill of managing complex development.

Duty time: Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00 (2 days at the office, 3 days home office).
