Our Partner is a dynamically growing family owned manufacturer company. To support the further growth of the Hungarian subsidy, as well as to support the Managing Director in bringing HR to the next level we are looking for a committed, reliable HR Manager with a strong ownership approach.

 

 

HR MANAGER

Tasks/Responsibilities:

The HR Manager of the HR organization of the company will be the first point of contact regarding HR matters of the entity to the Managing Director Finance and HR and will represent HR towards all internal and external partners. The HR Manager reports directly to Managing Director Finance and HR and has an HR team to run all HR matters.

  • Contribution to the fulfilment of the strategic goals of the company: translating business strategy into HR strategy
  • Actively promotes open and fair communication on all levels of the staff, uses the available communication channels and proposes improvement if necessary;
  • Owns the training plan for the entity
  • Owns of the Annual Appraisal Process
  • Leadership development, Succession management, Talent management and retention.
  • Internal and external employer branding, as well as managing all recruitment activities (ads, interviews, offers, contracting, on-boarding)
  • End-Responsible for the HR team during periodic business closing tasks (data management in cooperation with other departments); Ensures that the team can provide timely and accurate reports both externally and internally (to controlling, to HQ and to directors)
  • Preparation of HR cost plans for budgeting, following-up thereof, operating the Cafeteria system
  • Headcount planning (shift structure review, related communication, related time management)
  • Participate in HR projects (university cooperation, secondary school cooperation, B-ite system etc)
  • Other ad-hoc tasks
  • Proactive improvement of existing processes
  • To maintain a fair, equal, ethical and transparent working environment at the HR department and actively promote the same throughout the entire entity

Requirements:

  • University or college degree
  • At least 6-8 years of experience, with increasing responsibility, gained in a manufacturing environment, where sound HR generalist knowledge is acquired, preferably with additional experience including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition or related fields
  • Solid knowledge of the Hungarian Labour Code (Mt.)
  • Proven experience of working together with other fields
  • Proven experience of making HR a visible function towards engineering and blue-collar employees
  • Desire to participate in complex HR projects
  • Experience in managing people is an advantage
  • Lead by example, maintain high ethical standards
  • Skilled in challenging the status-quo and pro-actively promote change and continuous improvement
  • German and /or English knowledge is a pre-requisite (strong knowledge of one of the two is essential)
  • Solid MS Office knowledge, Excel
  • Driving license

Personality:

  • Willingness to acquire full responsibility over the whole HR department, with the support of the Managing Director Finance and HR: able to translate business needs into HR action plan.
  • Proactive hands-on approach, result-oriented thinking.
  • Good communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy
  • Can-do attitude with conceptual and structured thinking
  • Solid numerical knowledge, but has the ability to look behind the numbers and have conclusions
  • Ability to adapt to changes and react in a fast, sharp yet calm way
  • Able to formulate ideas and push them through with necessary arguments and common sense
  • Intercultural experience (western EU culture) is an advantage
