The company seeks a candidate for the folowing position:


The role of the Site EHS supervisor/Coordinator is to lead the environmental, health, and safety efforts with integrity, conviction, and courage. He/she be responsible for the EHS process as well as for the budget to run an efficient and effective procedures that is capable to perform all work in an accountable way and for a continuous improvement process. This will be accomplished by exercising practical business knowledge to ensure both regulatory and corporate EHS requirements are implemented.

Based in Hódmezővásárhely (Hungary), he/she reports to the Plant Manager.


  • Ensure effective execution of EHS management procedures, training, audits/inspections, projects, legal permits, agency communication and corporate reporting
  • Provide recommendations to site management on change to improve current programs, policies, personnel, measurements
  • Proactively identify, plan and develop solutions to EHS issues and establish improvement strategies for both short and long-term goals
  • Act as a spokesperson for EHS related items with all governmental bodies as well and coach EHS facility and team members
  • Continually develop EHS knowledge and competency and participate in local and state level EHS activities
  • Implement relevant corporate, central and legal requirements into the Site organization and ensure compliance with local, state, audits federal and corporate regulations/policies
  • Work closely with the work council, local Safety teams and Business EHS to achieve the Business EHS expectations and create a common vision of a zero injury culture
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and corporate regulations/policies and audits
  • Coordinate with operations and EHS personnel to ensure all regulatory and corporate requirements are met and systems are being deployed at the facilities
  • Monitor EHS process and leaders to strive for continuous improvement by utilizing the "plan, do, check, act" (PDCA) process


  • Dedication to Safety
  • University degree in EHS or engineering
  • Knowledge of state EH&S regulations and experience working with regulators
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in leading a Site on all EHS relevant topics
  • Fluent English and Hungarian
  • Mediation skills, good communication
  • Analytical approach to problem solving capability, never give-up attitude
  • Positive attitude, being proactive
  • High ability to work in teams


  • Process Safety Management experience
  • Risk management and project management skills
  • Behavior Based Safety experience
  • Proven experience and knowledge of various systems as ISO14001, 9001, 50001
