- Support the class teacher through the preparation, delivery, and feedback of children’s learning
- Identify, plan (in conjunction with the teacher), and lead small booster classes for pupils requiring additional support or extension
- Support pupils and the class teacher during lesson time
- Work closely with Subject and Phase Leaders to target areas for improvement
- Record and report pupils’ progress and achievements in conjunction with the class teacher
- Plan and lead aspects of the curriculum such as Hungarian Culture or EAP support sessions
- Assist with classroom displays and learning materials
- Support whole-school development initiatives
- Provide classroom cover and learning support when required
- Supervise groups of children during offsite activities such as swimming
- Perform playground duties
- Run at least one after-school co-curricular activity per year
- Undertake additional job-related duties as requested by the Head of Primary to support the smooth operation of the school
- Participate in overnight residential trips when required
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Ability to engage and motivate children to achieve their full potential
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

- EU citizenship or a transferable work permit for Hungary
