They are relocating our product assembly, testing and distribution logistics to Budapest, Hungary.

They working to Agile working principles. This role is 100% office based. There will not be an option to work from home.

DISTRIBUTION, LOGISTICS AND TESTING CENTER MANAGER
The position is available for immediate start and offers competitive compensation and benefits for the right candidate.
Responsibility: As this is a completely new operation in Budapest, you would be responsible for all office, warehouse and production line setup.
Tasks:
Recruit, interview and hire a small team of assemblers,
Development of product assembly processes,
Preparation of test cycle plans,
Oversee product assembly and production QA,
Oversee Product test cycles, FMEA and enhancement requests,
Oversee shipping and logistics of assembled inventory,
Maintain they Inventory program,
Manage a small team who will do the production work and logistics,
Implement and tweak the assembly process for maximum efficiency,
Implement and tweak the testing and QA processes for maximum efficiency,
Implement and tweak the assembly process for maximum efficiency,
Work closely with their UK Electrical and Mechanical engineering teams.
Expectations:
Graduate degree or equivalent in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical engineer degree,
1 - 2 years of experience in people management,
5 years of experience minimum in Electronics Manufacturing as a tester or logistics or manufacturing specialist,
CAD skills for 3D design and Modelling,
Able to understand, create and maintain electronics schematics,
Able to hire and manage a small but growing team,
Able to communicate with Vendors to successfully purchase at good negotiated pricing:
PCB board manufacture
Electronics manufacture
Machined components (copper steel and aluminium)
Packaging and branding
Shipping and logistics
Able to set up simple Kanban assembly line, of their electronics products,
Able to set up (with supervision and guidance from their UK Engineering and Electronics teams) Test Rigs for rapid testing and QA approval,
Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
