Our partner provides energy business software solutions in the triangle of energy market regulations, informatics and applied mathematics for the liberalized electricity and gas market players such as Transmission Systems Operators, Storage Systems Operators, Energy Traders, Shippers, and Regulators. We are looking for a new colleague for the following position:
 
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ( IT FIELD AND/ OR ENERGY SECTOR ) 
(Full time, Project management, Budapest, Abroad)
Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Finding and researching new international clients and partners
  • Liaising with domestic and international clients and partners
  • Understanding the processes of market change, identifying market opportunities,, potential cooperation with other market participants
  • Selling IT development expertise to our partners
  • Identifying new partners, conclusion of framework contract
  • Preparing offers and proposals for clients
  • Bid Management
  • Preparation of presentation materials
  • Cooperation with Product Owners, product’s Key Account Manager and with IT implementation teams
  • Enforcing contractual terms
  • Project-related risk- and change management
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • University/college degree preferably in Technology/ Economics or related field
  • Excellent English language knowledge (both written and oral)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Customer-first approach
  • System approach, agile, can-do attitude
  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, precise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently but as part of a team when needed
  • Ability and willingness to travel abroad

Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience with energy trading and/or TSOs, SSOs, DSOs 
  • International IT project management experience
  • Another European language is a plus (i.e. German, Russian, Ukrainian, Estonian, Finnish, Croatian, Polish, French, Italian)
